The Mayor of Bunbury Gary Brennan Guest Speaker 7th March Meeting
Gary Brennan guest speaker 7th March meeting and gave a great run down on his vision for the city and up coming projects including a proposed water park for the Koombana Bay foreshore just inside the plug.
Gary said that his vision is to facilitate change and projects and then move over and let the city run with them.
The average age of people living in The City of Bunbury is 39 years, which is slightly higher than the WA average; Gary said that made for a great age and cultural diversity.
In question time Cecily Robertson suggested changing late night trading in Bunbury CBD to be changed to Friday night and create a party atmosphere with entertainment acts as well as shopping and eating. It was suggest to take the idea to the Bunbury Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
